Chloé brings back sophisticated 60's cocktail with this fantastic silk chiffon pleated dress. This classic silhouette reminds us of Audrey Hepburn, even alluding to a Catherine Deneuve moment of French sophistication. The wrap around belt sash drapes to the side, can be tied into a bow or draped elegantly giving this dress an added flirtatious aura. The stiff outer chiffon is the perfect uniform pleated goodness we love to see from a 60's cocktail throwback. The cape that forms from the belt-sash wrapping is an ethereal detail. A high bust is also giving us babydoll vibes. Back zipper is hidden under chiffon caping, as the chiffon stops higher than the zipper, there is some minor friction tearing (pictured). Excellent condition dress, new/old. Pleating is sensitive to temperature changes and humidity- steaming along upper pleat seams down will be an easy maintenance. Inner slip is a silk satin.
